For the Mavs, the trade is about looking at a future dominated by Wemby and saying, "Luka, as good as he is, ain't it."

honestly, i don't get why the mavs would even think about sidelining luka for anyone, even for wemby. luka's been carrying the team for years! building around him seems like the best call. but hey, maybe they know something we don't. let's see how it all plays out. 🤔
