his main point against blockchain is that everything being built here can be built without blockchain technology.

I would bring up the importance of transparency, immutability, and decentralization as key features that blockchain technology can provide. These attributes are especially significant in industries such as finance, supply chain, and healthcare, where blockchain can offer a significant advantage)
