Excalidraw has an amazing plugin that you can use as a canvas for idea generation, much in the same way that you might use Figma or @accountless.eth uses Farcaster.

Sometimes I just open up notes.app, but I start most mornings with a daily note and go through my day using it as a time tracking activity. If I'm good about it, I know everything I read or watched for a day, where I went and how long I spent there. Over time I can track how long I spend on any number of activities.

I've honestly struggled to keep useful one-liners in my terminal over time, and where I typically don't want to preserve my shell history (much less store it on a database) Warp is on to something that I think I can get used to.

I think it's more generally unlikely that - unless both China and Japan decide to change their manufacture/export lead economic models, their holdings of U.S. treasuries will change significantly in the next decade.

Ignoring the first part, the issue I have with the second is that I don't think treasury notes held by China and Japan are decreasing by much at all.

Good question. China isn't at the public forefront of large language model development, yet tons of research is being done at Tencent and Alibaba with state-of-the-art publications. DeepSeek is probably equivalent to GPT-3.5. I wonder how far ahead they are in terms of supply-chain management and process automation.

Worth noting: FT reports that at least 17 Chinese city governments are aiding startups with compute vouchers worth up to $280,000. The national government is looking at subsidizing domestic chips and establishing state-run data centers.
