what's a good reason for me to change my farcaster username from @rish to @rish.eth? 

(yes I own both)

only reason I can think of is to potentially avoid impersonators. Would be easy to spot them though

As the network grows will be harder to know, ens signals trust

Names can be taken away

True, but that username doesn't exist outside of farcaster. Your .eth name shows that you're the same person that does things with that ENS name in other places.
