Also biased but — by far the easiest way to sign into Farcaster with read-only or read-and-write auth Works on web, react, react native ~40k users (& growing) won’t even see the signer screen, meaning much quicker onboarding to your product bit.ly/48zxf4f 🪐 PS - many UI improvements coming in next 2 weeks

hey rish i'm using neynar managed signer keys for the app below is it possible to replace this with r&w SIWN so that it doesn't cost warps to connect? or is using signer keys the correct implementation here? https://warpcast.com/undefined/0x547b2b82

Yeah you can swap it. Just add SIWN to the app and use the signer_uuid from there, the APIs will work as usual

See here: https://docs.neynar.com/docs/which-signer-should-you-use-and-why If there’s anything confusing, that’d be good feedback for us to improve the doc

Yeah signer_uuid is unique between app <> user and can be revoked cc @manan @shreyas-chorge

nice, does signer_uuid have permission to delete any messages from the account? or just specific signer generated messages?

The way signers on the protocol are designed today, they function the same as oauth. Write access means you can delete messages from other signers too. That’s why you can delete casts from both Warpcast and supercast

makes sense - it would be nice to have something to toggle specific permissions on SIWN, so that it's blocked on the neynar level for specific signers. similar to discord oauth I think one of the main reasons why most people are hesitant to give write access is because of potential catastrophic events cc @jpfraneto.eth
