Update: experiment was a success, power badge is no more in Warpcast! Active users saw no impact and new users benefitted from this change. Warpcast will remove power badges from the UI permanently. If you are a developer who uses Power Badge, @neynar will continue supporting the Power Badge API for you.

Will `/v2/power-badge-users` still be supported from the WC API?

Till the end of August. Neynar will have a compatible API that you can switch to if you need it beyond that. cc @manan and @rish If this creates problems for you, let us know we can find a way to make it work

Very nice, will it exclusively return the array of FIDs that are power badgers? or will it also include other metadata / require pagination?

the API already exists and returns the same power users as Warpcast: https://docs.neynar.com/reference/power-users. You can use it now if you'd like What will change is once Warpcast stops creating power users, we will have to compute that on our end, we will still return over this API in the same response format

Thanks Rish, just to confirm this isn’t the same exact output as WC APIs since it requires pagination + returns a lot of profile data we don’t need (we just need the FIDs). However I’m fully understanding our use case is particular so we we will migrate to this API

ah I see. sorry I glossed over the second part of your question It's quite simple to get the full list of just power badge fids from our sql APIs if you want to use those, that's already available as well (though once warpcast stops generating these, we will update the source on our APIs faster than our sql. so if you want to be on the latest, then the API is better)
