maybe a dumb question, but why is it that clanker tokens generally have more liquidity/ higher market caps than zora tokens? is it just the visibility of deploying via social?

zora is yet to set a precedent with a coin that holds liquidity; clanker has already done that job well with so many launches

i've noticed that, yeah. so it's based on a perceived value in the larger ecosystem? because on paper they're all erc20s on base is there a concrete benefit to an erc20 having been deployed via clanker vs zora once it's out in the world?

clanker gets you the kind of distribution any other platform isn't even close to + clanker has managed to earn the trust and reputation fairly well, props to @proxystudio.eth, @dish ++ platforms (re bankr, clankfun, checkr, to name a few) built on top of clanker have also managed to add value to the clanker ecosystem and continue to do so i have experienced this first hand with the launch of $SHIFT — it has done $2.5mn+ in volume and i don't think it would have been possible without clanker

this is what i'm trying to better understand. why is clanker better at distribution? zora's got a platform dedicated to discovery, so if i didn't know better i'd guess their distribution would be decent too.

zora distribution is non existent or mostly fake, most of it came from seeing what other folks minted onchain vs seeing on the actual platform clanker got social following and reputation far exceeding zora's by now and also getting louder on twitter

@ripe
meaning clanker does a better job of promoting tokens launched on their protocols?
