Question for founders. Why are companies choosing to write information and updates on a separate newsletter website like medium or Paragraph instead of on the website itself? As a potential user/customer, I find it a bit frustrating. I miss websites w proper blogs

i think partially for distribution – something like substack has wide audience that already has the social tools to subscribe for updates. the other part is probably that ppl don't want to manage their own blogging software i'm not really a company so maybe n/a to your question but i use mirror instead of my website for my writings to archive them to arweave and having them be collectible is fun too ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
