they announced they were adding activitypub in november during the big twitter exodus but i haven't seen any updates since then so who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️ i'm just interested in tumblr because, like fc, it has a distinct flavor and personality

i'm becoming more convinced that the "one size fits all" monosocials aren't going to work again going forward and it should be more specific and focused networks. stuff like yup can let ppl assemble their own extended bespoke graphs from disparate technologies. sort of a return to rss reader-like internet organization

I'm also curious to see what happens with activitypub adoption, and the current culture on the “fediverse” can't stand that name.
