this printout is inspired by charli xcx's very internet, very viral brat album cover (deluxe ed.) and media campaign with the deep fried, low res, arial font

i've been enjoying the album. a lot of the songs are about meditating on her own humanity in pop music, in the media, and in relation to other ppl. i feel like a lot of the printouts have been talking about our humanity online adrift in endless scrolling so it made sense to do something with this

also, if u have an hour and half to spare, i really recommend professor skye's video about brat. it's a funny, hypercitational, highly contextualizing breakdown of the album. it covers topics of taste, class, social & cultural capital, etymology, high/low culture and art, bratz dolls, medieval history, and so much more (๑>ᴗ<๑) 

also the girl, so confusing version with lorde remix is soooo good
