interesting article about "exformation" and the loss of it in online communication. the author argues that bc of this, we lack shortcuts to recognize the speaker as coming from a certain background. but i feel like this can also be a good thing about the internet as it removes kneejerk biases and prejudices ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

yeah i'm also surprised how many interesting things i find on there regularly (⌒_⌒;) even if it's not something i really agree with, it's interesting to read. maybe it's the old timey quality of its editorial direction

The Atlantic actually has interesting articles, to my surprise. I may subscribe.
