this week, on my homepage, i got into indieweb building blocks and integrated some of them, adding indieauth so i can log into services using just my website+pgp key, using microformats for id, joining the indieweb webring. pretty fun stuff ^-^ i really love the ethos behind it and i wish it were more widely adopted i also continued to refine things on dial-up mode like adding permalinks to the blog. i think it's pretty much at a point now where i can actually start using the page as more than just for writing about the page developments itself i've managed to get the whole site down to ~150kb (started around 700kb) but i want to try to get closer to or under 100. there's no real reason for this other than it's a fun challenge and there's still a lot of messy stuff i should clean up ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ https://ellesho.me/page/website/now/#webrings-permalinks - u can read more on the blog

Long time since I used my pgp key, never seen it used like that, never even thought of using it that way, Ethereum account abstraction inspires people I guess ☕✨☕

indieauth is actually kind of old and came out partially from oauth i think. the spec was published on w3c back in 2018 ^-^ https://www.w3.org/TR/indieauth/
