another day on /nounspace, another major breakthrough on what's already possible with the magic of Fidgets.

today's epiphany was that you can already embed any twitter feed on your space or homebase. Sharing the instructions for how I got this to work below, but lmk if you figure out a better way/provider!

there's a twitter "native" way if u don't want to use 3rd party services like elfsight. just go to publish.twitter.com and generate your feed and then grab the syndication.twitter.com url (highlighted in the inspector) and put it in the nounspace iframe ^-^ don't use the generated url that twitter gives u to copy

this is going to be the easiest fidget to build ever lol, i may even be able to do this one. in fact, it can just be a new setting for the existing feed fidget.

also if u look at the string in the url, u can do some customizations to the appearance. stuff like set hideheader to true to get rid of the "posts from" bar at the top or change theme from light to dark to get dark mode :) i also set dnt to true at the top to reduce twitter tracking
