i 100% agree w/ you. i skimmed b/c i find the style & academic-ishness annoying (& have for ages) & 'everything' is now 'substack' & few other things & eeeeehhhhhh & HOWEVER.... i am a sucker for ppl that try to diagram things b/c long ago a took a class taught by this woman and focused on diagrams https://adelheidmers.org/ & so i am (still) constantly seeking...
