Phones are now banned at all high schools in my state in Aus. All students are given a magnetic pouch which their phone goes in and they lock/ unlock the pouch at the gate. Students have started playing sport again and socialising at lunchtime.  Well being and behaviour have increased dramatically. This is so good.

A snow skiing Degen, loving farcaster. I love casts about skiing, outdoors, Mtn biking and football. I enjoy games, quizzes and host /category-quiz . 

They aren’t allowed at my kid’s school this year either, they check them in when they arrive and receive them end of day. 

I’ve noticed the same behaviors. They’re interacting in the halls and socializing at lunch!

I think it’s a smart move.

I proposed doing this years ago. Amazing that it's actually being implemented and working!
