I think, and have thought for a long time, that the secret sauce missing from NFT and memecoin markets was having them on L2 instead of L1. 

Imagine how hard it is to build real community if only the rich can afford the gas fees to mint or trade something. Rich people are literally the worst at creating culture!

Honestly, memecoins are such a great way to onboard people. Fun, culture and gambling.
