In regards to writing autonomous, unstoppable software, IMO this is fair. Or else: How are we keeping people accountable if after deployment anything goes?

I think in general if this stuff gets big we'll see a trend where validators are held liable for the code they run. That said, a validator can advertise a policy (in this case anything-goes) and the user could be liable for actions that based on that policy could reasonably be expected to produce a certain result.
