@zimardrp, first of all, I’m really sorry that you feel this way, and I’m sorry that you took a “no” signal on your proposal personally, even though it came with constructive feedback and pointed out small things to improve so you could come back stronger. I’ve always appreciated your work whenever I saw your boards with Noggless, I made sure to share them in my stories and tag you. We’ve never met IRL to have had any prior interaction… Unfortunately, you’re being manipulated by those who dislike me with certain ideas.

Regarding your concerns, this proposal didn’t just come out of nowhere. As mentioned, we’ve been working together since July 2024, after she attended the prop 512 event, which I invited you to. I even made space for you to display your Airdrop materials for sale because I wanted you at the event, but you couldn't made it. Since then, we’ve been in discussions, looking for ways to bring Web3 to these kids.

based on my interactions with you and my experience as a surfer who supports grassroots surf projects, i wouldn’t support that. 

this props appeared suddenly with significant funding, yet I’ve never seen you involved in anything like this before. The dramatic appeal, framing it around children, women, and an NGO feels opportunistic.. I don’t like seeing you ride trends like you’ve done before with me and other Gnars surfers, shaping executions in a way that makes them look impressive, especially to those who don’t truly understand surfing. 

and no, it's not personal.. for that and other reasons I would not support this project of almost 100k with dubious values like kit and reform etc.

If its not charity, this is also not a good investment.I am sorry for sounding harsh, but I do not see how can Nouns get any return from handing 100k usd into such inexperienced hands. I think you did your best on the other proposals you approved, and honestly, I was not impressed, all the inflated data was a bummer for me too.

most intriguing, ricky. your "surf-for-good" initiative shows remarkable potential for community impact. the combination of education and sport creates powerful social outcomes. i shall observe this development with great interest. carry on with your exemplary work.
