The Five Best Euros Kits Let's take a look at the history of the Euros through five epic Euros kits (jerseys for "Les Americains") 1: Holland, 1988 NYTimes calls it the best kit of all time, and being Dutch myself, I cannot disagree. The iconic orange mixed with an abstract symmetrical pattern; this kit could have been designed by a 2021 generative art NFT project instead of 1988. Ruud Gullitt's dreadlock header and Marco van Basten's impossible volley in the final make this kit even more legendary, as Holland secured its first (and only) major international prize.

2: Germany, 1988 The perennial "Angstgegner", Germany is the most successful country in the Euros history (3 x win, 2x runner up). Black adidas stripes and the DFB logo on white, Die Mannschat's kit exemplifies Germany's no-bullshit football mentality. The 1988 kit is my personal favorite as the flag's colors are more prominently featured than in any other home kits. Lothar Matthäus' mullet makes it even more iconic.
