Threads is going to generate a bunch of buzz and then fade after a few months because the best Twitter posters don’t have enough of an overlap on Instagram (if they use it at all).

Twitter is about the unique accumulated social graph + 15 years of habit.

I’m curious to see how it goes — I have roughly double the following on IG as Twitter, 40k vs 20k, but I post once a month at best so engagement is non-existent

Really curious to see what the algorithm is for threads and if they intend to drive traffic/engagement toward those that adopt it early
