I'm about to start my second startup and I've decided not to measure my business success by any useless metrics.

tempting to just say you'll focus on revenue, but it's difficult to evaluate experiments/actions just based on that

so would want to identify the drivers of revenue (secondary metrics). if moving those numbers doesn't impact revenue, then they're not a driver of revenue.
