Had experimented a lot in past: going without, using it with power naps, and overuse. Love the ritual of brewing, the aroma, and taste; and power napping worked very well. But the half-life really impacted ability to sleep (as booze affected quality of sleep).

Removing it from diet altogether came easy (experienced no headachey withdrawals, but was sluggish in afternoon for 2–3 days), and by end of week had higher constant baseline energy; as well as ability to sleep (almost) on demand.

Quite a good read on the experience, along with a few others. Plenty of short video interviews with Michael are easy to find — and give a good flavour in first instance, to save buying. https://i.imgur.com/i73Ngi6.jpg
