Anyone else order the new AlphaFly 3?  They are the real deal. You look like a clown but run like a pro

I use the OG v1 for long runs. I still prefer the Vaporfly for everyday runs and with the vest, I get too much ankle role with the street surfaces here in the Alphas

I honestly just had them and got used to them. It’s time to get something a little more durable for everyday running now. The vapors bottom severely degrades for me anywhere from 275-400 miles

Well they’re a race shoe and 275 is supposed to be their life span haha they make your foot weaker after prolonged use!

Was thinking about this a bit more. I think the traditional perspective is that constant running in a carbon plated shoe often makes your foot weaker due to relying on the plate. Most ppl call carbon plated shoes cheater shoes, especially the alphaflys, bc of the technology.

Ha.  Actually the opposite.  Because you recover quicker wearing the shoes, you are able to get harder and more frequent workouts in which compounded lead to stronger feet, and legs, and better endurance.  Its why they call them cheater shoes.
