Turns out, it’s possible to turn a MacBook into a replacement for GitHub actions iOS deployments for free

I didn’t even know this was possible and I found nothing about it online. I just hacked this together. 

I might write a blog post later about it if anyone’s interested!

My laptop now wakes every night at 2 am (with the lid closed!), builds and uploads our app to TestFlight, then goes back to sleep

It’s super fast and costs $0. Way better than GitHub actions for small projects 👀
