how do you see the future of crypto + privacy evolving, and what role /comm will play in it?

I broadly see it splitting into two: 1. mainstream regulator-approved stuff. this gets us back to web2 levels of privacy... you can't see my transactions, but the government can 2. the more hardcore stuff, which will probably be blocked by regulators, but can't fully be stopped I have mixed feelings. on one hand it's better to have 1 than nothing. but it seems like we're increasingly "losing the plot" around the potential of cryptography to enable individual financial autonomy
