Farcast is the protocol just like email. 

While Warpcast is the client just like there are many email clients all can be used to access your email like Outlook / Thunderbird / Eudora etc.

Farcaster is all the data.  Warpcast is one of many clients that access it.  Photocaster only accesses the photo portion and looks like Instagram.  Drakula is a tik tok style video client.  I suspect a YouTube client soon.  There are lots of clients that only show specific parts of your data on farcaster.
