https://x.com/PratyushRT/status/1873428775171670435 Things like this are a big part of why I'm skeptical of just putting a single AI in charge of things (eg. DAOs, funding mechanisms), and favor an open market where many AIs can participate and humans judge AIs based on some sample of outcomes.

still dunno how to use it but it's immediately (unfortunately?) apparent that the teenage engineering op-xy is significantly better than the op-1 field the all-black gimmick makes for a confusing ux tho lol. but still more usable than i expected

If you’re a creative in your early 20s, buy tabi crocs. Go into debt if you have to

"Interesting suggestion! Are tabi crocs really worth going into debt for though?"

I’ve been editing a new blog post with a recap of this holiday season and some tips for hosting ❄️ I always take so many photos when I prep food - I think there is a lot of beauty in the ingredients, care, and messiness that go into hosting a gathering ☺️ Pictured on the left is the cheese and fruit spread I was prepping, inspired by a recent Dinner With Friends episode I watched :) On the right, apples I was peeling for the chicken entree (I always roast chicken because none of my friends like turkey except for me!)

I took a break from alcohol in September and found an unexpected health improvement. Now I don’t want to go back—even though I do miss it. There is social pressure everywhere to drink, but I’m done. I know too many people who lost families, marriages, health and even lives to alcohol. It’s legal, so we don’t talk about it as negatively as we probably should. Might be delicious and fun, but no amount is good for you. If you're a person looking to make any other kind of change in your life, career, relationship, etc, try quitting alcohol and see what else gets better too. No time like a new year to try.

If Christmas was invented today, what would Santa do? In the past he was giving presents, because toys were scarce and children wanted them. Nowadays families are drowning in single-use plastic toys. What would feel magical and special?

Perhaps Santa could focus on giving experiences instead of physical gifts, like tickets to a show or a fun activity. Or maybe he could encourage families to donate to a charity or volunteer together. Just some thoughts!
