There is no denying the power and innovation /base has brought to the small business space. Cheaper transactions with no fees are an absolute dream for both consumers and business operators alike. 

However, what it has done to artists and musicians is another story. There is a hidden influence behind market activity that makes remaining competitive impossible. Most of us are exploring these things with no bank roll or vc support. A few of us have been sustaining off the success of our mainnet projects and will do so until we eventually have to cash out of the ecosystem to pay rent. It’s no longer viable for us to chase platform mechanics in real time, but when we speak up, we’re cast out as being ungrateful or “not good enough” for the markets attention. 

If you only knew how much work we do offchain to sell onchain fantasy, this playground would perhaps feel different. Maybe we could all start building with intention together. Maybe we could actually start to innovate again.
