For a text based platform, it sure seems like a lot of people have forgotten how important word choice is. People may not remember the exact words you said, but they will remember how it made them feel. When the community feels bad, demoralized, and demotivated, there is a problem.

Yeah guess so. Problem is this made so many artists question why they’re putting so much effort into building.

I remember casts being a revelation when I first came in. The idea of being able to read a full article while not leaving the platform.

I’m doing a lot of reading and the more I read, I’m formulating a theory that text based content is what the algo wants and frames were a catastrophe for this. Maybe that’s why most of them are collapsed. Or the network is so overrun with bots. Maybe all the above.
