2yo's daycare just announced they're closing from next March after 33 years. I'm so sad. What a special place. It's like Montessori. but they build and explore outside or inside as they like, eat super fresh meals, and all the kids clean the facilities every day Japanese-style. Really, really going to miss it.

That’s so tough when your kids aren’t ready to move on. Happened to me with my second son, we followed his favourite teacher to her next job but it was never the same.

the daycare is small and imo idyllic. the head teacher is retirement age and her daughters are the other two teachers. once it's done, it'll be done
