quarterly thank you note to whomever on the merkle team made the product decision to NOT show recasts on someone's main profile page and instead slotted them to the casts + replies tab (i found a guy on X with great takes but having to scroll through retweets and retweets to find his takes is bad UX)

I considered this a game changing feature when I joined back in February. So much cleaner. Drives me crazy when I have to scroll through someone’s feed on X to find their own art or opinions.

exactly! most of the time i recast something, it is because i want to share it for the algorithm and not because i want it to sit on my profile as part of who i am — i can quote cast and add my own commentary if i want to do that. hope you had a great weekend, btw! happy you're here :)
