The theme of loneliness has always been deeply present in my psyche. I seem to have an acute awareness of its presence in my own life and in the lives of those I encounter. I’m drawn to understanding what it feels like to face this in later years, when the years behind stretch longer than those ahead. What regrets do people hold? What would they have done differently if they could turn back time? How do they cope with moments of loneliness? And how is it that some find solace in it, embracing loneliness as a final destination—the last relationship they need to nurture: the one with their own SELF. Einsamkeit 2020 ISouth Africa

I love how you explore this theme. Most of the time this theme has such dark overtones but when you do it, there’s heart and hope in amongst it. It feels so uniquely you. 800 👏🏻
