Went on a multi family camping trip this weekend

What is your feeling on parenting in that situation? 

Do you care if other people discipline or ask your kids to behave?

Depends on how close you are. I travel with two families but we are very close, kids grew up together so if they tell my kids to chill it’s fine. There’s an unspoken understanding of how far is ok with each others kids.

This is a first event but I think the unspoken part needs to be spoken

I hope they respond well and it doesn’t get uncomfortable.

Hopefully it will grow to more organic interactions. It’s a great feeling to get to that level of comfort with close friends.
