I am fascinated by how many people i know are giving it a try - shockingly high numbers 

Not the web3 crowd; just a huge swath of people I know from all walks of life giving it a go

I wouldn’t underestimate the attraction of being able to start on a new app without having to start from scratch. IMO the thing that mattered the most on day 1 is the IG/threads onboarding simplicity.
