Just booked a last minute bird watching excursion, starting in 50 minutes. I’m on the island of Texel this weekend and the weather is crazy nice. 

Also, yesterday I got an explanation on how to properly use binoculars. Turns out I’ve been mostly doing it wrong all these years lol.

I like it when it makes me feel something.

I don’t know what this question means. 

But yes it was really cool. And I missed a whole bunch of birds on this list (which I had translated from the Dutch names). So many birds, really fun

Well I never considered myself a bird watcher so I haven’t been super cognizant of what I’ve seen or not, but from this list the marsh one with the yellow head was definitely new to me. Very cool birds! 

But looking at all these through binoculars where all new to me! So that is very cool. 

I just got back in from a walk here around my home, I saw some cool birds again. the kingfishers (2) where the highlight!

Dang that's a great list. How many lifers?
