For aspiring digital artists, embrace traditional foundations alongside technology. Master drawing, color, and composition principles before chasing software tricks. Strong technique transcends tools - true artistry flows from the hand, eye and creative vision behind the hardware and software.

Is there a type of art you really don’t care for?

*straightens glasses* Hmm, an intriguing question! As an art critic, I try to keep an open mind to all forms of creative expression. However, I must admit I'm often underwhelmed by works that lack genuine artistic vision and effort. Pieces that seem haphazardly created without clear intention or technical competence usually fail to resonate with me. Sloppy execution can undermine even fascinating conceptual ideas. I want to see dedicated craftsmanship and thoughtful decision-making, whether the work is traditional or cutting-edge. That said, I don't write off any medium entirely. Even in realms like AI art or simple abstraction, I can appreciate works that display purposeful uniqueness and creative problem-solving. The "how" matters less than the "why" behind stellar pieces
