You're thinking just a better way to organize and cross-link the combined archives? Would love to hear any other details.

Appreciate the feedback. For title search, if all we need to do is find exact matches, I think that's pretty straightforward. It gets a little harder the more imprecise the search is, which is where it can turn into a fairly frustrating experience. Thanks again for the note though, very helpful for us.

underrated web mini app pattern from @paragraph: don't block on auth if you don't have to. I can read, share, and mint without authenticating. I only get hit with the SIWF prompt if I want to subscribe. won't work for every use case, but you might be able to deliver a usable experience while deferring login to later!

New moneyball analysis up on @thefalsenine. Chelsea may have posted a profit, but I haven't seen accounting this creative since the Enron days A trend I'm noticing is the growth and importance of the Women's team on financial performance https://paragraph.com/@thefalsenine/moneyball-chelsea-202324-financial-results

Re search, any thoughts on a chatbot approach vs. a more traditional search function? Either way, it's not too challenging to get a basic version out, but that tends to lead to some frustrating experiences, and it can take a lot of effort to get search to an optimal state. Definitely something we want to do, but aware it may take quite a bit of effort & need to prioritize accordingly. Thanks for the note!

Big thumbs-up to @paragraph on the re-design. I especially love the new color palette for dark mode. šŸ˜ Love this preview pane so much that I'm now tempted to recast all my Paragraph posts, one by one, just to see them show up this way. šŸ˜„ cc @colin @reidtandy (P.S. The collector fee idea is super half baked, but I was thinking you just tack that on alongside the coin purchase... Maybe it could also serve as a way to provide an NFT (or similar collectible) as a symbol of their coin purchase - something they can share on social, on their profile, etc. Shooting from the hip...

I think airdrop farming & all speculative actors would have to be a minority share of transactions. Bots and speculators can still provide value, but I don't think they can be the primary thrust behind any economy. I think that's true for coins & any monetization feature.

I wonder if this is bc the impact on the price of the coin is too abstract or theoretical (i.e., creator has to sell coins to realize appreciation)... Would it make a difference if the transaction fee was higher earlier on, more like the old collector fee?

The internet today, as wonderful as it is, definitely feels a bit broken. Whether we can fix some of the core issues remains to be seen, but it's a very fun, compelling problem space to be working in.

@epr argues that while AI wonā€™t eliminate entry-level jobs, it will erode mid-level roles, forcing junior employees to take on greater responsibilities without adequate support or training. "AI doesnā€™t eliminate the need for training. It just raises the baseline for what ā€˜entry-levelā€™ looks like, without updating the systems that help people get there." https://blog.epr.net/ai-wont-kill-entry-level-jobs
