a good story about the open internet. even tho things weren't as convenient back then and u couldn't get immediate answers from a chat ai, there was something nice and fun about parsing through other human contributions yourself ^-^

I wouldn't have my career nor financial stability if it wasn't for the internet. I fondly remember learning web design from poorly designed websites. I remember trying to packet sniff a neighbor's WEP-secured wifi on a terrible laptop with even worse battery life. I owe Tim Berners-Lee tuition.

i think that's what makes me sad about the current internet and seeing younger kids feel that it is sucking the life out of them (╥_╥) it doesn't have to be that way!

this & this is what i am trying to get into the minds of my littles. 
this is just one timeline created from a series of choices....
& we can unmake it.....
