1. Brand recognition - farcaster relatively unknown - esp outside of CT. Need closer/instant recognition with base brand? 2. Convoluted sign up process That won't fly w. Younger people They want instant (I have 2 teens) Plug in. Press button. Add email. Go 3. We are gating everything. It's not as welcoming 4.....

I think these are all real and deserve consideration but that the answer is more simple: We aren’t making posts about stuff young people care about. Farcaster isn’t ‘cool’ yet

See 4. You're right. It's not cool. It's overly complicated. It's the opposite of Laymens speak. Too many clever people sounding clever - that won't fly with kids and their attention. Young people are there for the taking. Higher as a token and brand would be an opportunity imo. It's got that 'it'

Another thing crypto would be smart to think about more is how profoundly bad tech + startup cultures reputations are with younger people. Usually this is dismissed as part of a culture war that we’ll win eventually, but people don’t want to come onchain because…they think it’s corny. Need to work on that a lot
