4. What’s the hardest part about building a new app or protocol? "When developing something new one doesn't know what will go wrong or where the critical path is. That's found out while walking the walk. As such planning timelines and capacities to have a sense of being on track is hard. Knowing what works is also hardly possible, since it's new. How do you know if something new works? Maybe you can pull from similar sources as you're combining them and get a better sense that way or have people on the team, that did similar things before. That for sure helps. Otherwise it's walking the walk and finding out. Adjust along the way and stay in the game."
