We're running experiments to fine tune to Warpcast feed. If you see anything that gets better or worse, let us know. Here's how it works today at a high level: Selection - find casts that you might want to see Ranking - determine the best casts Ordering - rearrange them to keep things fresh

I feel like the Ranking logic might play too strong a role. I have multiple channels that I really want to see a selection of posts from in my home feed. often these are going to be channels with lots of casters, therefore i wouldn't be interacting with the authors very often, or at all, beforehand(cont)

and many of them may be new/less frequent casters. ex channels: /pokemon /six /swatches /onchain-dinos /tabletop etc. I -want- to see when a random user I've never interacted with before posts something really cool to say, swatches, w/o having to go to swatches every single day to check(cont)

I feel like the algo is putting -so- much weight on showing posts from people I already interact with a lot that those posts end up being all that's in my feed. So it's very monotonous and sparse. instead of having tons of stuff to scroll through before hitting old posts, there's only a handful.

but to not be just critical- overall I am liking the adjustment compared to before the update! i think it has a lot of potential. this is also the first large site update, for any site anywhere in the last 10-15 years, that i have not hated and that's something I kinda didn't think would ever happen so def props there!
