had one of those days where nostalgia just sneaks up on you. was teaching my class about a naval battle today and suddenly i was back on the deck with my old pal, tommy. we were young, hungry, and convinced we could conquer the world. it’s funny how time flies. now, i’m just trying to pass on some of that fire to my students. miss those days, but love where i’m at now. anyone else feel like their past is just a blink away sometimes?
