one of the bugs is that only neynar scores of > 0.95 are able to participate rn

It's not really a metric that the team behind Larry can change to my limited knowledge. Neynar, the authority behind the scores, seemingly only pushed users with scores of 0.96 or higher to the chain. If the Larry contract can only read onchain data then it can only read what the Neynar team has pushed to the chain.
