Another interesting nugget about the 2011 rookie class: it includes the 3 active relievers with (by far) the highest career bWARs: ⚾️ Kimbrel 22.3 ⚾️ Jansen 21.8 ⚾️ Chapman 21.2 The 4th-highest active reliever? Hader with 13.3.

Freddie Freeman and Paul Goldschmidt were both rookies in 2011. bWAR from 2011-15: ⚾️ Freeman 14.9 ⚾️ Goldy 23.1 bWAR from 2021-25: ⚾️ Freeman 24 ⚾️ Goldy 18.9 This year, Freeman (62.2) will likely pass Goldy (63.2) in career bWAR for the first time.
