anybody using an LLM inside Obsidian? what's your plugin of choice?

individually, very small. maybe every one of them are under 10k characters.

currently, the entire vault is ~25MB.

lots of reasons that doesn't work

need inline edits
don't want to upload every day's files to Claude

i want Cursor but for Obsidian.

i think you'll get better results with claude but screenshot if you find one

i'd definitely plug it into Sonnet or Haiku, but i want to chat about my files as i'm writing them, not chat in order to get them written.

I feel like analyzing and iterating on notes/docs in situ is what a lot of writers are looking for.

Unfortunately, AI companies seem more interested in replacing us than in helping us do better work.

So most of my writing is semi-technical, for DAOs, and aimed at oboardees (institutional, philanthropic, social impact, etc.).. So I mostly use AI tools with Obsidian to iterate on docs, look for potential improvements, errors, redundancies, etc.

A lot of my workflow involves chatting in one window, and copying/editing into Obsidian, shifting my working copy back and forth.

Been trying our Kohj and really like it so far, fwiw
