Our street is blocked for cars because of nearby construction work. There’s a guy whose job is to stand at the barrier to lift it up in case a resident wants to enter. I don’t know if I envy him or feel sorry for him.

more honest that what a lot of people shouting on ct are doing On top of that: weather is nice right now. Not too hot, no rain. Bit windy. And he can lean on the barrier (which he does every time I see him).
