We bought a Volkswagen ID.4 to replace my clunker. It's pretty great, but still getting the hang of it. What you need to know about this decision and brand choice is that if this were maybe 5 years ago, I guarantee this would have been a Tesla. I was the biggest fanboy of that brand you could find. But, for reasons you can probably guess, things have changed. And honestly, having test driven Teslas in the past - I think this is better.

2024 AWD Pro. Not S though. As much as I liked the features of the S trim, it was a little pricey. AWD Pro with the bigger battery is a nice sweet spot I think.

If you're mostly driving around town, I wouldn't stress about range. When we do, we just charge at home and never think about range or charging at all. If you're planning to do multi-day road trips, then every bit of range can help.
