nice selection (Balvenie is a bit more lighter taste IMO, but still really good). Laphroaig is solid stuff, but from the islay/peated brands it's goes more into medicinal notes (rather than wood/leather/cigar smoke direction), especially the 10. Want to surprise Michael? Ask for Uigeadail or Lagavulin 8. But neat, and from that same type of glass. Ask for a piece of dark chocolate to give your taste buds a treat.

In all seriousness, people can drink what they like, however they like. There's a theory going around that whisky (and whiskey) being chilled or diluted with ice kills the "notes". IMO, try a good scotch all three major ways: neat, on the rocks and with 2-3 drops of lukewarm water. Three different drinks. But use a snifter. I like Glencairn.

OK, what is wrong with people?? Read or delete your e-mails!! But OK, I admit I have a problem with this. To try to tackle that problem, I'm tipping my entire allo (tomorrow) to the person that screenshots their phone with the biggest amount of e-mail notifs. Please don't cheat :)
