People trading ETH over on Reddit had this theory a few days ago. 

Of course ETH takes a hit the moment the information about the Bybit hack is out. Then it bounces, bcs Bybit needs to get that ETH, at market prices. 

But then it dumps bcs well... nothing better than liquidations to get some fresh income. And CeXes are still largely unregulated, at least as far as longs/shorts are concerned.
