I wonder if you could make a safe non-money version by having people wager things like likes and reposts like Amp, but instead of paying for the engagement it’s “beat me at a game of poker for a repost of your cast.” Would make it virally useful while possibly skipping over a lot of gambling regulation. (Not legal advice- “likes” on social media have been argued as “some nominal value” in some jurisdictions so still a grey area.)

Last time I checked piratebay is still up If Farcaster can't handle it, that's unfortunate for Farcaster. I'm not interested in Farcaster, I'm interested in the thing that works. And in being unstoppable. And brazen. And open. And public. Anything less is cowardice and antithetical to the principals laid down by those before you.

anything less is lack of due diligence. Don't mess with gambling. It is one of the most regulated areas in life/business. For good reason. Piratebay has nothing to do with it (that said, pirate bay founders served 6 years, so... yeah).

Nah 100% you can deploy a complete poker game with no association to yourself and let people bet. You can then just have a cut run to a wallet and railgun it. I mean come on, Who raised you Chicken shit lawyers ?
